Amen....

I love a good pinot grigio. But I am not sure how effective a recovering alcoholic who's last glass of liquor was when she was 12 is going to be able to push it.

Not sure it's an excess of money that is the root of this project. More likely it is an excess of vanity. That, and an ambitious PR team bent on merchandizing the bejezuss out of Miss Barrymore's celebrity.

What's next: equally inappropriate Drew Barrymore training bras?

It gets even worse when you find out that The Barrymore Pinot Grigio will retail for $20 per bottle, making it an even bigger ripoff since most PG's sell for less thant $10. Plus the importer is Wilson Daniels, the same firm that imports Domaine de La Romanee Conti.
I love it when the wine business sells out just like every other product in the USA. That's what makes this a great country!

Marc, I noticed that about Wilson-Daniels, too, and found it quite interesting. It doesn't seem like the usual product that they do.
