Let writers write whatever they want. It wouldn't hurt if writers took some classes at UC Davis or local schools on basic chemistry and visited local nursery to learn basics of vines and fruits. More certifications? More self-regulated bodies? More govt. designated oversight? What the hey, nobody cares what degrees, certificates, or initials you have. We only care that you actually provide useful information. That stands the test of time. Like, for more than a day.
