You are right about this, WC.

Too the U.S. palate really isn't lined up with Muscadet. People should give Muscadet and Oysters a chance, tho I think it's very versatile.

A good one, with about a decade under it's belt, channels chablis.

Bobby, let's work on the chenin blanc in Texas before we try something even more difficult. And David is correct -- Muscadet is suprising versatile.
